No7 Dramatic Lift Mascara Review

Sorry about the long delay on this post, I have had some major issues with photo editing as my last photo editing app has been dismantled meaning I had to find a new one and then once I did my internet started playing up! (How typical!!)

I love experimenting with different mascaras and seeing what works and what doesn't,what is clumpy and what isn't! One of the first things I look at when I purchase a new mascara is what type of brush it has. If it is quite big and has quite chunky spikes it is more likely to be clumpier I tend to find. However, the No7 Dramatic Lift Mascara (which can be found if you click on the link) brush that belongs with this mascara is thin and curved which is fabulous because it means it curves in the way your eyelashes do and reaches right down to the roots and separates really evenly! The mascara gives a good volume without weighing your eyelashes down and leaves them feeling really soft instead of that 'crispy' some mascaras give.

This mascara claims to give you the 'wide awake look' which on a Monday morning personally I couldn't think of anything more ideal! It's also surprisingly cheap I think for a mascara and so far it's lasted me a month and it's still quite full! I also can't not comment on the tube itself,I love the mirror effect it gives off and the shape of it! In the middle of the mascara it bulges out meaning you can grip your hand round it easier and if you're like me when doing your mascara you have your brush in one hand and the tube in the other! I would definitely recommed this mascara as I havn't found any faults with it and it is probably my favourite mascara ever!

I would love to hear back from some of you so please leave comments below!

Cozy Catchups!

So we can all get a little stressed every now and then and I know one way you can relieve that stress! What is better than having a good girly gossip with all your girlfriends!

Going out with the girls is the perfect way to get you out the house and let off some steam. Whether it is boyfriend, girlfriend, family or job problems your friends will always be the ones you can go to to chill out. Last week I was the one who needed to get out the house so me and the girls arranged to see each other, we went round to ones house and spent our afternoon and evening in a hot tub, drinking prosecco and having a much needed gossip (The fact that my bestfriends are also fellow bloggers meant the afternoon was even better because we could talk about everything blogging related).

If you are at a low or stressed in anyway I really would recommend meeting up with the girls/boys and just having a really good gossip and catch up! Or if you are not very good when it comes to talking I would suggest keeping a diary, as silly as it sounds writing your feelings into a book it can really help. You will feel so much better after it and you can then start the next day as fresh as a flower.

Summer Craze- OOTN

So this is my first #OOTN post and I knew I had to start it with this outfit.

I wore this outfit to a friends 16th, she had a small gathering with the theme of summer+afternoon tea. She requested that we all wear bright colours and I knew that this jumpsuit would be perfect. Although the top half of it is just blue I knew the trouser part would go perfectly. The lower half features colours such as orange, pink, light blue, dark blue, white, baby pink. I knew because of the range of colours featuring on the trousers I would fit right in. Jumpsuits do wonders for me as because of my height they fit quite nicely on me and most of them tighten above the hips which really shows off your curves.

Along with my jumpsuit I wore a pair of stunning black two strap block heels. When it comes to heels I usually don't last long on them(hence the reason I buy block heels) however I can last all night on these. My feet are a size 7(they are long but very skinny) which means I often struggle when buying heels so I usually have to go down a size which was the case with these so I own the size 6 pair which fit me like a glove. I originally bought these for my 16th birthday party and didn't really think I'd wear these very often however now whenever there is the chance to wear heels these are my go to heels. They are really comfortable, easy to walk in and very supportive.

Review- Smashbox camera ready foundation

So I got a new foundation this week and thought I would try something new for a change and I've been hearing loads of amazing reviews for smashbox recently. I got their camera ready foundation and it is one of the best foundations I've ever had,it is so light once on and for me who doesn't have perfect skin it covers everything up.  It takes me a while to find good foundations as it has to cover my skin well but then I also don't want to be orange and smashbox does the job just right! You also don't have to use a lot for it too look good which means I won't have to buy it as often which is a massive advantage to it! It is definitely in my top 3 for best foundations and I've used a lot!

Body Lotions

Sorry for being so inactive lately,I've had exams and then holidays.

Anyways, whilst on holiday I really badly burnt my stomach and was in agony for days. My skin is only starting to recover now after 2 weeks,I've tried lots of different lotions to try and help repair it but I've only found a few that really work.

One of them being Johnson's holiday skin body lotion. This lotion is one that contains tan so after 3-4 days and maintaining use of it, will give you a flawless tan which after coming off of holiday is great because I can keep up my tan.
It also contains aloe vera which is used in after sun and makes the skin really soft and it works as a great moisturiser. You can also find this lotion quite cheap in places such as superdrug. Would definitely recommend this lotion to everyone as it uses natural products and works really nicely on the skin.
